Features
HASELOCK is a powdered flavoring agent with excellent preservation stability developed by T. HASEGAWA. It can be used in various processed foods.
By using trehalose as a carrier for the powder, it prevents quality deterioration of flavor components and functional materials over time.
When compared to conventional powdered flavors, HASELOCK’s coating is free of fissures. This is clear when compared at a microscopic level. (Particle appearance: scanning electron micrograph)
Uses
Can be used in various processed foods such as tablet, powdered drinks, dry soup mixes, snacks, and chewing gum.
Since the preservation stability of flavor components and functional materials are improved in the end product, this technology extends the shelf life.
Can also be applied to fragrance-related products.
